A Technicolor Nightmare. The serenade of the bush faeries.

The first in my Workshop mixtape series. This tape was made for a brother of mine called FU, whose wisdom was universal. There were many lessons he passed down to me during our conversations at dawn. The most essential of those lessons for me here and now concerns listening. I thought I was good but he proved that there is always another degree to explore. Hear with no judgment. Listen without definition.

Before “The Field of Truth” record is made available to your ears in its entirety, I thought it might be best to release an assortment of live works I put together over the last few years. Some of the tracks include contributions and arrangements from the core comrades; AFTA-1, J DEAL, PETEY K and L BASS. I can’t forget to mention NEV who took over the BOSS with Manuel weeks after I bought it and simply elevated the collective vibrations. Respect to all the voices and sounds that mysteriously woke up in the midst of this great experiment.

This mix is dedicated to brother REN, the man who laughs out loud at the vast majority of my jokes–a true minority in my sphere of heroes. The piece has been crafted to accompany a walk in the rain. When the time is right one might consider taking flight toward the non-promise of sun.<
